The engine usually outlives the truck — we keep everything around it honest.

Ram Cummins Repair

Cummins engines are famously durable, which is exactly why the failures show up in the supporting systems: lift pumps, CP3 and CP4 fuel pumps, VGT turbos loaded with soot, EGR coolers, grid heaters and 68RFE transmission behavior.

We diagnose fuel supply before condemning an expensive pump, and we test the turbo actuator before selling a turbo.

Describe it to us

How we work it

The four steps, every time

  1. 01

    Supply first

We measure lift-pump pressure and filter restriction before touching the high-pressure side.

  2. 02

    Pressure testing

Rail pressure, return volume and injector contribution identify the actual failed unit.

  3. 03

    Repair

Clean-room fuel practices, correct torque, and full system flush when metal contamination is present.

  4. 04

    Verify

Regen cycle, road test and post-repair data log confirm the fix under load.

Questions

Straight answers

My CP4 failed — do I need the whole fuel system?

If metal traveled downstream, yes. We inspect filters and rails to document contamination instead of upselling by default.

Is a lift pump upgrade worth it?

On high-mileage trucks and tow rigs, a healthy supply pump is the cheapest insurance for the injection pump.

Can you fix constant regens?

Usually. Frequent regens are typically a sensor, EGR or driving-pattern issue, not a failed DPF.
